Finding inspiration from the many talented Native American people with whom we all share this earth. I create each piece with a reverance for the earth and the traditions of her Native people.
My children and I gather many of the materials used in these creations as we walk exploring the great southwest in all its unique and diverse grandor, from the rim country mountains to the desert floor. I am in awe of mother nature's earth and inspired to create works to honor her.

ANCIENT ECHOS (PICS 005,006,004)
Images of proud warriors on horseback, faces striped in war paint, eyes focused on distant vistas, wearing buckskin and handcrafted adornments. Such was my inspiration in this work. A nod to the great braves of days gone by and the talent and artistry they displayed in reating adornments such as the traditional hair bone pipe choker.
Framed in dark oak and set upon a buckskin background and natural rough edge piece this decorative choker is made in the traditional way using buffalo horn hair bone pipes, glass pony beads, silver beads, turquoise hieshi, elk antler button with horse hair drop.
