Finding inspiration from the many talented Native American people with whom we all share this earth. I create each piece with a reverance for the earth and the traditions of her Native people.
My children and I gather many of the materials used in these creations as we walk exploring the great southwest in all its unique and diverse grandor, from the rim country mountains to the desert floor. I am in awe of mother nature's earth and inspired to create works to honor her.

BEAR QUEST
The bear, representative of a mother's duty to watch over and protect her children and the "eagle" feather, representative of wisdom and power are paired together in this piece as an
acknowledgment of a mother's deep love and devotion.
A carved stone bear fetish and a hand dyed "eagle" feather both adorned with turquoise hieshi on a buckskin background. Hand cut amber buckskin fringe and decor with copper wire, hematite beads, turquoise cabochon, and an Arkansas crystal complete this buckskin covered oak framed piece.
